Mootools javascript conflict

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I am using Responsive2 and Kunena forum. I have the isis admin template being used. Some of the admin configuration items in Kunena do not work. Looking at the Kunena documents I found the following. I have but a few other components installed. New site. Is there any know issues with this template?
Thanks.

Why can’t I edit my Kunena user profiles (including setting forum preferences, avatar image, etc.)?

You have another Joomla extension (a component, template, module, plugin or language) that uses a Javascript library that conflicts with Joomla’s Mootools Javascript library.

Hi There,

With the first part of the question are we referring to css issues or js functionality?

Can I also clarify are you referring to the buildr version of responsive2 or the standalone version?

I would believe its a javascript issue. That is based on the FAQ at Kunena.

If you create a new Joomla user, or use an old Joomla user, (I have imported all users and Kunea database from older website) when they login and go to the forum, or go to the forum and login, the user can not update their avatar or some other settings in the logined user kunena settings page. I receive an error message the parameters were not saved. Everything else seems to be working OK.

I am using the older Responsive 2 template.

Thanks.

I believe based on the Kunena FAQ it is javascript. The new site is currently behind .htaccess. If necessary how do I provide secretly to you the .htaccess and joomla login?
Thanks

Are you using any firewall or security extension?

You would need to create a ticket in that case

Sorry for the bother...

Thanks for the suggestion about the firewall. The default Akeeba Admin seems to break this feature. I will investigate this more and if it is Akeeba I will see what I can do to fix.
