I can see li in the source code but nothing in them

Are the links set to show in regard to their access level e.g showing as public?

All links are set to show.

Any problems fixed in the database? if you go to extensions > manage > database

Not shure what you mean by wide cashing enabled. Global con - System - Cache Settings = OFF

Not shure this is any help. It´s a message from the host support:
"I happened to see one more thing, in the JavaScript code, there are "console.log (item);" be careful of having such, IE usually bug out then."

In menus > manage if you hit the rebuild button does that help?

Thats a really weird issue. Can you try it with the Protostar template to see if they render?

If they do then it's definitely a template issue and I think we need a ticket with J login details so we can see what's caused that.
As Paul says above the names for the menu items have been stripped by something.
Do you have any 3rd party plugins installed?
