Pasting Code into a Joomla template website

Hello, I am trying to paste the code for a Shopify buy button into a module in Joomla. It is not working.

I know that it can be done, see: www.shopify.com/buy-button/joomla
But the chat person at Shopify had no clue.

Can someone please help?

Hi Elizabeth,

I'm not that familiar with Shopify - what type of code does it add?

is it html and javascript?

if its easier paste the code into a text file and add it to a post as an attachment

Thank you. I just figured it out.. I had to change the setting in the JCE Editor so that it would allow javascript.
