I dont understand that: "We advise disabling this function in the template during development." How am I supposed to develop when I disable "compile less to css or save changes"?

I'd suggest disabling the component while building the site - I no longer install it to the site is live

I think from memory the option is under visual fingerprinting tab

I deinstalled Admin Tools and still cannot compile the bs2 theme. Please use the credetials from www.joomlabamboo.com/index.php?option=com_rsticketspro&view=ticket&cid=14230&Itemid=206 to login and see for yourself.

I have duplicated the theme and saved and compiled - I've not enabled the duplicate on the front end however

Looks like you may need to login on the front end in another tab. If that doesnt work please create a look and Ill look.

When I log in I see the same screen but without the input fields and nothing gets saved or compiled.

This issue goes on for some months now, I need a solution, my entire workflow is screwed.

Have you thought about using htaccess on the site?

That is what I use instead of the Joomla offline page

What role plays the "offline page" when the template fails to compile? But anyway, the hoster does not allow the use of htaccess.
