JB Maps has stopped to work, the module is empty, I’ve updated the module but the problem persists .... has Google made any changes into their API as they usually do for their products ...

hmm odd

API changes only affect sites released after 22nd June 2016 so if it was working previously it still should be working now

With updating the module did you create the api key?

I had totally forgotten to look at JCH Optimize.

Is that a question...?
I think that this plugin needs to be fine tuned, once that is done I think it works fine.
I have not seen if this influence on the ranking in search engines, but regarding the speed of loading pages there is nevertheless a clear improvement when the plugin is activated...

With jch optimise as you say it does need to be tweaked / tested after new extensions are installed or updated

With ranking JCH optimise it ticks various boxes that Google marks as important so it must help with ranking e.g. improved speed, merged files, less requests etc
