Mobile Problems

I am using the ecolife template and find that when viewing with an iPhone or tablet I get the bottom part of the page but when I try to scroll up to get to the menu the site changes to view the whole page and then zooms back onto the bottom section. I cannot get to the menu to view other pages.
Is there something I can do to rectify this.

Hi Murray,

I think this may relate to an IOS "feature/Bug"

Are you on the latest template version?

I am using Release 1.3 - March 6, 2015 - is there a newer version of the template?

Yes the latest is 1.3.2

Can you update - I think there will still be an issue but at least you will have the latest version and we will be on the same page

I have updated the template on the site and you are right the problem is still there. I may try to put a menu in the footer position so at least the other pages can be accessed.
Thanks

Hi there,

It's actually a bug in ios9 and we dont have a definitive fix yet because the one I'm about to paste here messes with our carousel.
But since your site doesn't have one then this should work ok:

Edit the tpls/blocks/head.php and replace the

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=no"/>

with this:

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width,initial-scale=1,shrink-to-fit=no">

That should fix it but we have to look at a better fix for this.
Thanks
