Hi There,

My menu bar in the top right hand corner doesn't work on the front page (index page) of the site, on all devices and I would like your advice on how to correct the problem.

The main menu links are working.

Once you click on a link and a new page appears the menu bar works.

Your help would be great fully appreciated.

Hi Guys,

I have been working on the problem and found out it was my Abpro Appointment module on the index page causing the problem. When I unpublish this module from the index page, the Offcanvas menu in the top right hand corner works.

Is there anything I have to do to the template to enable this module to work correclty on the index page and not affect the Offcanvas menu button, or do I need to talk to the extension developer?

Was the issue that the off canvas wouldn't open or was the menu content not displaying?

Thanks for the response.

The offcanvas menu icon was smaller than normal and when clicked it didn't display the menu.

I am still having problems with the Abpro booking extension breaking the template in mobile view. But when I change the template to Protostar it works with no problems in the mobile view. It seems to be the settings with the Venture template.

It would be appreciated if you check this and advise what I need to change with the Venture template.

Hi Kuniyo,

It sounds like the module might be loading a second copy of jQuery which is causing javascript errors. There may be an option in the module settings to turn that off.

The booking screen is not a module but an component being called by a menu button.

Why would the booking component work with the standard Protostar template, but not the Venture template? Doesn't this mean that the problem lies with settings in the Css of your Venture template?

I cannot see the component in the plugin section under the Extension tab, but it is showing under the Component tab of my joomla 3.6.4 backend. There is only a JqueryTooltip setting and this is set to Off.

Hi Kuniyo,

With the component enabled what errors do you see listed in the console browser tab?

If the menu isn't appearing at all then as Rob suggests it points to a js conflict
