We are trying to config. the Sidebar 2 module to display on the front page but cant figure out what i am missing because for some reason it will not display! Have worked with sidebar2 mod on many other templates.

<< Clearly states that using a custom html mod it should work. after having no success with the custom HTML mod we have tried alternate modules i.e menu module and still no luck

In the template assigned to the homepage, do you have the sidebar position enabled in the layout area?

Ok Homepage wise you have all the content assigned to above content which doesn't have a sidebar

Do you have a page with main content and sidebar published?

OK, have the sidebar 2 working however not because of the following which is the effort to see off canvas - I think a new topic with Off Canvas in the heading might be more helpful for myself and others.

just back in my space, bigger screens than a laptop and I think I can see where when you were mentioning upgrade I took it to be the J3.4 upgrade.

I just checked then and saw that the template had an upgrade to 1.2.2
I have now done this upgrade to the template
