Would anyone be able to give me a hint how I can make the articles linked to by the Zentools module (My Work Speaks For Itself) look good by appearing on the main page or on a sub page but using the same menu as the main page?

I feel that I have almost worked it out but I'm having problems. I'm sure I'm missing something simple.

With it being a one page layout on the home page and other pages having a standard menu this is a bit problematic

Are you able to have the content open in a lightbox rather than load a page with the standard menu?

Hi Paul,

I don't think I can get the volume of info I need in a lightbox. In Safari it doesn't open with sufficient height but seems better in Chrome and in both the content seems a little dimmed.
If I remove the <hr id="system-readmore" /> I get more content in the lightbox popup (I only get limited content otherwise) but the zentools boxes look bad - Your Photoshoot as an example.

If I could make the other pages look similar to the One Page layout it would be ideal. I can't see where the menu comes from on the other pages or where the page itself is configured at the moment. I only need one menu item to link back to the main page.

Can I just check how much information you plan to add?
How the lightbox looks we can work on

With it being a one page template on the home page it works totally different than a normal menu

e.g. the one page menu is driven by template links and module positions

while a menu is driven by a menu module and uses multiple pages

So was hoping lightboxes could be an option but that as you say depends on the amount of content

I'm happy to work within the space available if it is to be in a lightbox, especially if it can scroll and it can still look good on a mobile.
My FAQ for example, might have twenty questions and answers.
I'll make a start on adding the content to the 6 boxes during today.

I'd try it first with one pop up to see if it's feasible content wise

For the lightbox itself - can you attach the settings for the lightbox from the module

For the image itself - it has white space to the right of the image

for this, you either need to alter the resize settings for the image or set "Full width image" setting to yes

These settings are found in the zentools v1 Image settings tabs

Hi Paul,

I think I am almost there. I needed to tidy up the way the 6 image blocks look with the text below.
If I keep the <hr id="system-readmore" /> the text does not appear in the lightbox.
If I remove it, there seems to be a random amount of the text below the image.
I've removed the Text option and just kept the Image and Title, which seems to work fine though.

I'm working on making the text look clearer in the lightbox and trying to work out why they appear differently sized.

For the text shadow try adding

.jackbox-modal * {text-shadow: 0 0 0}

this should make the text clearer

With the text size there are different elements being used

blockquote, li, heading and p tags

Blockquote is the largest

So if you wanted to use all these elements in the real text they would need some tweaking

.jackbox-modal h2 {
margin-top: 10px;
}

for example

I'd suggest adding one article with the real content - containing tags you will use and we go from there
