JCE Editor

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I have installed Joomla 3 and then installed Rasa2, not the qiuck install just the standard package.
I then installed JCE editor but when I went into global configuration and try and save it as the default editor I get this message:
Error
Invalid field: Path to Log Folder

I wondered if it could be anything to do with the template? Doubt it but thought I would ask!

Not seen that error before

If you switch to a default Joomla template do you get the same?

The administrator has disabled public write access.
This is usually because the "path to log file" has not been set correctly during installation, likely to be null. Go to the configuration and set it, this will usually then resolve the issue.

Here are couple of links to help explain

docs.joomla.org/J3.x:Global_configuration

www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/joomla-3/system-settings/path-to-log-folder

Unlikely to be template related in my opinion. It can happen for a number of reasons but just entering the psth will most likely solve it for you.
