Background colour of the date

Hello,we have to update from Zentools to Zentools2 because of an error occurring php. Unfortunately, it doesn't succeed to achieve the same layout like before:
The date was positioned over the image with a black background colour.
The same thing happens when I use the slideshow with zentools2. We like the red background coulour of the date.
