Strange conflict with calendar extensions

Hi Friends,

This is a problem I've been trouble shooting for quite some time now. Here it is:

I'm using Rasa2 and Joomla 3.5.1. There is a problem with the calendar extension, it's the same for two different extensions, Jevents and DPCalendar - same problem for both. The examples below are DPCalendar.

No matter how I try to display the calendar, the screen jumps on hover.
www.specialed.org/calendar

In the default Protostar template, it works fine:
www.specialed.org/index.php?option=com_dpcalendar&view=calendar#year=2016&month=4&day=7&view=month

And when I try it using Responsive, it works
www.specialed.org/index.php?option=com_dpcalendar&view=calendar#year=2016&month=4&day=7&view=month

Any thoughts here?

Truly hoping there's a fix somewhere here. Do I need to abandon Rasa2?
