A small glitch

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi Paul:

I am looking at this site:

pickardconstruction.ca

And I see a small line at the end of the Navbar... If you remember we reduced the height of the Navbar, I think that this line also needs to match the new height of the Navbar. I am attaching a screenshot of this.

Also, when you look at the site, the main picture on the home page is a static size, it does not widen past a certain point. Is it possible to change its CSS so that it always fills the space of the website?

Cheers,

Tony

Hi Tony,

Try adding for the first question -

#menu ul > li:last-child a:after, #menu ul > li:last-child .zen-menu-heading:after {top: 15px;}

Hi Tony,

With adding css it would reduce the image quality - I'd try and resize the image in an image editor at the moment I can see you are increasing it via the site editor

Hi Paul:

Re, the Image on the first page of:

www.pickardconstruction.ca

I have resized it to 1070 wide... in an image editor as you suggested. It is better, of course; but I thought it could be set by a percentage of the page... let's say 95%.... Is this possible?

Cheers,

Tony

Hi Tony,

Are you using the banner elsewhere on the site?

Hi Paul:

Just got distracted watching Watford...
In answer to your question, - No, this is the only place that I am placing this image.

Hi Tony,

Sorry I wasn't clear - are you using the banner position elsewhere on the site?

As adding this line will most likely break something else

#banner img {width: 100%;}

if you are using the position elsewhere with different content then I'd look to either add a module class or use a body class

Hi Paul:

Well, I will give this a shot... and see if I can use other positions for images on other pages.

Also I should mention using css like this does degrade the image quality as its being resized up

Also it does slow a page down marginally
