Rasa2 page navigation layout issue

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

There's a small display issue with the page navigation plugin in my Rasa2 template. The "Next" button is cut off. You can see an example in the attached screen shot and on this page:

www.idesignlegal.com/marketing/26-website-portfolio/118-client-lynn-luker-attorney-and-counselor-at-law

Also, I can't seem to get the the head "Marketing" to hide on the same page (I've got an arrow pointing to it in the screen shot). I've tried menu options and article options, but I'm having no luck. The article is the result of clicking one of the options in the zen tools module I'm using in a grid layout on the page. So if you click one of the grid items on the page in the link below, you can see the article:

www.idesignlegal.com/legal-services/marketing/website-portfolio

Any help is appreciated--I absolutely love the template!

Hi Matt,

For first issue can you add this to the custom css file

.pagenav li a, .pager li a {display: block; padding: 0px 10px;}

Is Marketing the category you are using?

With settings the menu link overrides the global settings

Thank you for your response. I know this is probably a Joomla issue, but I'm stumped, so I wanted to ask.

I believe the Marketing text is the parent category. It's an H1 tag with the class "page-title." The problem is that there are no menu items for the articles that are displayed by clicking the items in the zentools grid mod. I've tried changing the settings in the article options, but I don't think there's an article option that controls page header.

I think it is a setting

If you set up a hidden menu and create article links for one of the problem pages does that resolve it?

Yes, that resolves it. I meant to say I don't think there's a page heading option in the article options. It's only in the menu options under page display. I hate to have to create a hidden article each time I add an article to the category that's using the zentools grid, but if that's the only way to get rid of it, I'll do it.

Thank you for your time!

If you create a hidden blog category link does that also resolve the issue?

You've been very helpful--I love the template and the Zen Grid. I hate to get greedy, but I have one more small question. Just as I was finishing up that page, I realized that the buttons I've put in using the zen shortcode need to link to a new window. Is there a way to add a target to the {zen-btn} shortcode?

Hi

If its a zentools module you can change the "link target" setting in the zentool settings general settings tab

It's just an article that uses the zen shortcode:
{zen-btn}Link Text|http://example.com{/zen-btn}

I was wondering if you could add a target somewhere in the shortcode. Couldn't find anything in the documentation so I tried typing it right in, but that didn't work. Also tried checking the plugin settings.

Hi Matt,

I have that on my list actually for the next update. Might not get to it next week but lets cross our collective fingers :)
