Sidebars

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I've got a custom html module associated with Sidebar1, and in the theme layout it's setup as follows:

Sidebar1 Sidebar2 Maincontent

This displays as I expected on the front end - the Sidebar1 module on the left of the page, and then main content on the right.

But if I then remove Sidebar2 - which is empty - in theme layout, so that it's:

Sidebar1 Maincontent

it switches around on the front end, so that the Sidebar1 module appears on the right of the page (and main content on the left).

I assume I'm missing something obvious, but I can't figure out why it behaves that way (I want the Sidebar1 module to remain on the left, but I don't need Sidebar2).

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Sorry for the delay on the reply

Can I just confirm which layout you are using initially?

Two left sidebars
or
left main right

Thanks

I'm using the Default layout for Rasa2, which seems to be 2 left sidebars.

If you set the layout on that page to use a right sidebar using a different template style - is that an option?

Cheers
