I am trying to use the abovecontent position to add a slideshow that has only one or two lines of text. It is meant as a special announcement spot. When I added a module to the abovecontent position the text was white. I changed the CSS to have a dark grey as shown below, but the text still remained white until I changed it to a block quote and then it showed as dark grey. I still did not have control over the size of the text and I have been unable to get the module to the correct size, as the text is cut off. What am i doing wrong?

Figured out what I was doing wrong....I was trying to put a slideshow into a module instead of an article, which was causing my problems.
