Is it possible to force these grid boxes to be equal in depth?

Currently they are custom html but, I am open to to suggestion for easiest or best solution!

With zentools2 there is an equal height setting if you set up a grid

Right I have had a good read through the documentation and I know that what I want to acieve is described as "Boxed theme with equal heights enabled"

I've then gone done to "Getting Started / Creating a Layout" and that's where I loose it. I'm afraid I find the instructions very loose not explicit and I really have a job following them. there does not appear to be a clear example of how to achieve what is displayed here:
