I want to put an image in the sidebar2 position, That's not the problem.
Can you tell if it's possible to click on the image which will trigger a YouTube video to pop up in the middle of the screen?
Probably elementry, but I haven't a clue!

Well thanks for the link, I have installed zentools2 and re-read your link three times, but quite frankly, I do not understand!

I tried following your screenshots just to create something but I cannot find the screen that you have listed as "Lightbox"

Have you changed the image to lightbox?

As this triggers the lightbox to show at the bottom of the same page / tab

Thanks Paul, I've made progress but not there yet. I have:

OPTIONS
1. chosen item layout - Single
2. selected content source - Images
3. item layout - Dragged an image across
4. image settings - Chose Lightbox

CONTENT
I chose a folder which contains only one image.
That image now displays within my sidebar and when I click on it, pops up in the centre of the window. So far so good.

How do I link my YouTube video to display in that Pop-up/Lightbox window instead of the image?

yes, picture enclosed, only difference is it looks like you are on an apple with slider swiches and i have to tick a box.

Okay, so now I have changed it back to a slideshow layout and it still pops up the same picture from the sidebar module that it is getting from an image folder..

I accept I'm thick but does the module not also need to be given the YouTube address?

You added it to the gallery like the example in the thread I linked to?

Under the options tab the only sections that I have are:

Select a layout - slideshow Change layout
Select a content source
Item layout Edit item layout
Module layout and settings
Lightbox settings

I cannot find the section in the picture attached

Right can you change to gallery rather than images

If this isn't clear can you attach a screenshot of your layout and content source

Okay , I'm sure that it is now set to gallery, I have attached five shots of the screen expanded down to the bottom so that you can see all the settings, hopefully!

What do you have in the content tab?

Click the green pencil icon and that opens up the fields you can add the video link to
