Menu not working!

Probably just a box to tick but!
My menu displays and works fine on a PC. It also works okay when I look on my iPad in landscape but I have found today that on my iPad portrait view, iPhone 6 and a Samsung phone that items on my menu that dropdown, don't!
Please can you explain what I have not done or, done wrong!

What setting do you have?

It says 'No Change'

Thank you Paul, I have now been back to that control and realise that I want the setting set to 'toggle'.
Mind you I think 'offcanvas' looks rather smart!
