One of my clients with a Joomla Bamboo template for a website been getting repeated e-mails from siteground which state “We would like to inform you that your account silvertipventures.com has reached 80% the daily quota of 20000 program and script executions. Please note that once you hit 100% of the allowed daily executions, your web service will be limited for the calendar day” We have blocked several ip addresses to no avail. Many calls to tech support Now after about a week siteground is saying that the Supercache is not installed and activated. Just wondered. Does this make sense to you

No longer used extensions removed?

I did check on your suggestions. Everything is up to date. But the site seems to be back up again so Siteground must have fixed it...I will let you know. Thanks for your help.

False Alarm... the site is up but my client keeps getting the following messages “We would like to inform you that your account silvertipventures.com has reached 80% the daily quota of 20000 program and script executions. Please note that once you hit 100% of the allowed daily executions, your web service will be limited for the calendar day” . I may have to purchase a block of time from you at joomlabamboo so that you can go in and try to assertain the problem...Is that possible. In the meantime I have noticed that the Error Log under visitor statistics in the control panel has numerous errors many of them from today. Please see the attached image. I will give Siteground Monday to fix this, otherwise can I pay you to go in and troubleshoot!

With k2 do you have commenting disabled on the site?

This can be a real problem if the site comment form is being spammed

Here is a screen shot of my K2 plug ins. I doubt that that is the problem because I have another site that uses the sameplate and I just looked and their screen shot for K2 would be the same...

I am ready to just pay you guys to go in and see if you can find the problem Because I had to just make them make the site go live again.. it was down... and I do not want my client to loose patience. plus this will be a learning experience for me and thus well worth the money.

Hi Elizabeth,

We can look at it but in the worst case scenario the site may have a hack which becomes very time consuming and difficult

With k2 I'm referring to settings either global or via category - do you have commenting and user management disabled?

Spamming via comments can be a real problem

I would like to pay for your expertise to have access to the site and to try and figure out what the problem is. If you decide that this issue is related to hacking and that because of that you can not fix it.. that is OK. I am still happy to pay for your expertise. It will be well worth it for me just to pay you to go in and attempt to figure it out especially because (As you know I am bidding on a huge site) and would like to make sure that I have back-up support that I can pay for in case troubleshooting is needed. So please direct me to the steps that I need to do to pay for add on services as soon as possible. This site is important to me. It is not only a client but a good friend.

Can you open a ticket and I will look in the morning UK time as it is 1.30am here now

I'll have a look and see if I can spot anything

Would be 30 minutes / 1 hour support block but we can sort that out later

Please let me know If I owe you money for going into the site and trying to figure it out. I think it was a Ddos attack and I hope my client will hire Securi to try to figure things out. I have read about Ddos attacks and am convinced that that is the problem although Siteground (thanks a lot) is saying the problem is in the underlying code. Thank you and let me know if I can pay you for your trouble.
