I was able to delete the module on the top of the page that said LOGIN and your code worked in the custom.css file to make the carat appear on the menu in the dropdown menu item..

However, now I have an even bigger problem. The large slide show that appears on the home page disappears when in cell phone mode…. What can I do to change that? The page is here:

Given the amount of images on the slideshow myself I'd probably look to have the slideshow disabled on mobiles given bandwidth and screen size issues on phones

If you check the layout in the template settings the banner position is set to hide on mobile

col-lg-12 col-md-12 col-sm-12 col-xs-12 hidden-xs

e.g. hidden-xs

If you unhide the position it should display fine
