Hello,

the Zen Tools Gallery works fine when displaying 20 pictures from a directory.

But when the directory contains more files, the module needs to long to resize the images when the site is clicks for the first time - a 500 internal server error occurs.

How can I preprocess the thumbnails of the images in the directory?

Or perhaps I can increase the maximum timeout time?

How big in file size and also dimension wise are the images?

They are not that big. Just 900px on the long side and a few hundred kb big.

Have you mentioned this to the host?

It may have something to do with the memory limit on the hosting account

Also with the images you are adding - do some have any spaces in file names?

That can cause problems

Also try truning off resizing if the page is still giving error 500s - does that see the page load?

Hi there,

This relates to the php exexcution time limit. Is this something that you can increase in the php config via your server?

Otherwise do the images load on the subsequent page loads?
