In a template you should have a list of css files in this case there is only one = template.css

go to extensions > template manager > click the word templates towards top left corner (below styles)

That should reveal a list of thumbnails click protostar details and files that will then show you the template.css and once clicked you can edit to it

but be carefull that you have a backup of this file or even better the whole site if you are not familiar with adding css
