Sound slike spam on the contact form.
I would take a look at the JED to see what spam catcher extensions there are now.

thanks, it seems an odd sort of spam looks like they are trying to post a forum profile link or blog comment, I guess the contact form is pretty vulnerable, i will add captcha, thanks!
