I am using the JTweet module in the lifestyle template but my tweets are not displaying correctly.

The css for sidebar is slightly overidding the css of the module so try adding below to your custom styling

ul.tweet_list {border: none !important;}
ul.tweet_list li {text-indent: 0;}
ul.tweet_list li a {border: none;}
ul.tweet_list a {border: none;}
.sidebar .tweet_text {display: block;}
