How do you change a standard marker to a custom marker on JB MAPS?

Are you using jbmaps2?

It can out last week but it does only work in Joomla 3

Ok, installed it -- but how do I change the marker there? I know some tool references are provide -- still not a clue how to put a custom marker there.

Any advise appreciated. thanks

In the markers tab you can add a path to an image to represent the icon/custom marker - the default is pointing to the google marker image

thanks got it. Also, I've installed map2 -- but when I save it -- all markers disappear. Is that a known issue in new jb_maps2?

Same problem here. is there a way I can point the module to look inside the images folder?

Hi

If you add a path to the icon in the JB maps2 markers section does that not work?

I get a broken icon symbol in the back end, and no marker in the front end.

JBMaps2 seems hardwired to direct us to a particular site for custom logos, but the site no longer allows hotlinking; following their suggestion I moved my custom icons to google drive, then to dropbox, but got the exact same result in both cases.

If we could access a folder in our local image directory, I think we might avoid the various security, permission, and cross-site traps that are probably keeping this from working.

Hi

I've just tried this on a live test site using a png icon in my images folder

It works for me I loaded the image in the browser first to check the path and then added that to the markers setting box
