Hi Guys

For the life of me I can not get the JB Maps to load on the website. If i was to guess it is obviously a jQuery conflict, but I have no idea how to fix it.

I'm hoping you can help. Here is the link to the page:

Matt's thrown it to me to have a look.

- JB Maps 1.2.5 installed (btw JB Maps Changelog is a bit out of date... v1.1.1 3 years ago)
- Upgraded site to J3.2.2 from J3.2.1 (fixed T3 admin bug)
- Changed settings in JB Library to not load Jquery and not remove other JQuery instances. It loads now default Joomla JQuery (currently 1.10.2) and that doesn't resolve the issue.


Where the map should appear.


Module is loading correctly, but map not showing.


Javascript error in firebug console.

Hey guys - nice to see you here.

I see the RS Form js loading before jQuery on that page - not sure if it will fix it but it's likely to be causing an issue if it uses jQuery.

So try to reorder the the plugins to see if that helps.

Let us know what you find.

There doesn't seem to be a RsForms plugin to re order, also, how do you re order the plugins.

Can you test by temporarily un-publishing the form and see if it loads the map?

The contact menu item itself is using the RSForms menu item type, rather than it showing the form via the plugin.

Changing the settings on that page didn't make the map appear.

I've linked the module to a test page on the site - the Features article in Flux template. Map still does not appear.

I've also assigned the protostar template to this pageto see if the map appears - it doesn't.

Have also tried turning off the zoo widgetkit library.

Will get Matthew to create a ticket and a login for you to look at it further.

Just to be annoying, I installed Flux Quickstart and installed JB Maps with no problem.

Then did a base Joomla 3.2.2 reinstall on Foxco site - map still not working.

Hmm ok - Can you try installing JB Library? Might be the missing piece of the puzzle? Shouldn't need it with T3 themes but will definitely need it if the template isn't loading jQuery already.
