Jflickr loading two sets of images

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi

This is my first post so please go easy on me if it sounds stupid.

I have been using Jflickr for some time on our club joomla website and think it is great.

I use it with modules anywhere so I can add the images of an event after a written report/article.

I have recently moved the site and domain to a new host company and now all new and previous galleries are displaying the images twice. e.g. images 1,2,3,4, 1,2,3,4.

I am assuming it is a jquery issue but I have no knowledge of this and don't want to mess about with it.

Has anyone ever seen this happen before and is there anything I can do to rectify the problem?

Thank you
Mark

Hi Mark,

can you tell me the extension version number you are using and the Joomla version?

Do you have a link for the site?

Cheers

Hi Mark,

Do you know when this first happened? were you making any update or anything along these lines?

Are you on the latest Joomla 3 version? 3.6.2?

I'm currently not able to re-create the issue

Would it be possible to include a series of screenshots of your settings for one module?

Sorry. I should have linked to the gallery pages.

Have you carried out any recent updates prior to it not working?

Did it work following the update to Joomla 3.6.2?

That is what I am not sure about.

The whole site was moved onto a new server and that is when I noticed it.

I cannot remember if a joomla update has been done since.

I'll check with the developers and try and re-create this in issue in the morning

Thank you once again

Sorry I should have mentioned that I am using modules anywhere to place the jflickr gallery into an article.
After the move to the new server I noticed there were two versions of modules anywhere running although I had only used one. I was able to uninstall the unused one.
If I put a jflicker gallery into a normal module position it still has the same problem.

I have contacted the developers (NoNumber) but they say it isn't caused by modules anywhere.

Hi

I've asked the developers to take a look

You could try

.gallery-flickr ul + ul {display: none;}

as a temporary solution

I'd add it to the template file that you add css customisations to

With it not being a Joomla Bamboo template I'm not sure where to add it

You could also add it at the bottom of the file here

www.mccni.com/modules/mod_jflickr/js/jquery.fancybox/jquery.fancybox-1.3.4.css

but it would be wiped if you updated the module

Thank you.

I have created a custom .less file and added your line to it.
It has stopped the duplication of images.

Hi Mark,

It's not really a fix

I know the developers will look at it but not sure on the solution

The module is duplicating the unordered list - with this selector it hides the second ul

Thanks again.
At least it no longer looks odd and it might reduce the number f emails I have been receiving telling me "all the photos are up there twice" LOL
