It would be great if captify content had an option to get the image content source from the first image of the page. Great extensions like News Show GK4 and Aidanews2 have this feature.

The major advantage to this is that it makes it so the user does not have to upload a single image to the site. Plus it would make a great fall back method if the user forgot to upload an image to the article.

The CaptifyContent extension has largely been replaced by functionality provided by zentools grid function. Zentools grabs the first image in the article, whether it be joomla or a k2 item. Check out this link for a bit more info on the grid layout.

As Rowan noted above - captify isn't seeing any new development time just fixes for bugs

The intention is to introduce a free version of zentools but this is still very much a work in progress
