Problem with Captify Content

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Greetings today i installed Captify Content extension for joomla 3,0. First of all i whana say this module is fantastic.

But i have some problem. When i choose what category i whana use and chosed Category Filtering Type : Inclusive and when i click in my page on image its shows article in botom of module but when i choose Exclusive then module shows recently added articles but no those which i chose from what category display articles and then when i click on image it opens that article not in the same page and without module.

I whant that this module to show all articles from that category i choosed in the new page without module. i am using joomla article.

P.s sorry for my english :)

Hi

I'm not 100% following you my apologies

Are you saying you can't see the articles you want to select?

And

When you click to open it doesn't load the right page?

The second issue could be the menu id

well let me try explain. i see articles but when i choose Category Filtering Type : Inclusive. I can see all the images what i selected in category but when i click one of those images page reloads and articles opens at bottom of model and i whant that article to open in other page or atleast in pop up windows. But when i select Category Filtering Type : Exclusive it load articles not from that category which i selected but when i click on image the page reloads and opens only article without a model on top.
What i whant that all those images would be shown from that category which i selected and when i click on image it would load a page with that article without module on top.

Hi there,

This is actually a Joomla itemid issue. It means there is no parent menu item for the category so it's showing the front page.

Thanks Anthony

Perhaps you have a menu item that points to one of the parent categories? Pretty sure thats the issue though - give us a yell if the work around doesnt fix it.

Hi

If you use Advanced module manager to help with managing the module does that help?

Ok I think we really need a link to see what's happening here.

From what you have explained it really does appear to be a menu item id issue so we can't really help any further without seeing what you have.

Thanks

Ok thanks.

This is most definitely the menu item id issue.

You can see that from the fact that the url changes but the module positions dont.

Can you make visible on the front end the menu item you created that points to the category?

And post a asrceen shot of the category manager showing your category structure and the menu manager showing the menus?

Thanks

Hi
please, could you send me PM with superadmin access to your site so I can take a look and probably change your setting? I believe this will be fastest solution for both of us.

Thank you
