For some reason, the top bar in the backend allowing the creation of new modules/edit/duplicate etc., is missing after installing Joomla 3.1.5

Also applies to K2 (items, categories etc) from the 'Component' pull down menu

Any suggestiond appreciated and screenshot attached

I'll answer myself. It was a problem/setting with Google Chrome. All the top bar options are visible in Explorer

This can be a problem if updating Joomla it can sometimes need the cache to be cleared

If you clear the browser cache in Chrome the problem should also be fixed
