Hi,

Can you tell me what needs to be done to get the sitemap working please? I see a link to it at the bottom of the front page, but when I click it I get an error message. I've looked in modules, components and plugins but was unable to locate sitemap. Mind you, I could have over-looked it!

No, you have not over-looked anything. The app used to generate the sitemap is not packaged within Joomla Bamboo's quickstart or templates. You can download/install this app by going to Joomla Extensions using the following link;

This package is a component/plugin and is quite frankly the best sitemap generator out there and best of all... its free!
