Hi Folks,

I've released a simple site using the profile template

I've broken a few rules on it with the image load being high and the image links having spacing - I'd not suggest having more than one image gallery

Its a small selection of photos and restorations I've done

Also with a brief intro to my Joomla Bamboo work
- its a part of a process for 2014 of documenting my work (creating some new sites and updating really old ones)

Yes absolutely - found one of the restorations - the guy standing in front of his prison hut

Need the pics to tell the story about the family member who died in WW1 - served for two years only to die of influenza in 1918

While his fiance served as a nurse on the home front treating military influenza patients - she never married

Planning a page on a multi page site covering all the family members who served in WW1 to acknowledge the anniversary of 1914 - from the Western Front in France, Home Front, fighting in the East and in Africa

Will involve a bit of work but thats the plan

Really cool to see your own website in Profile! I want need to something very simple like this for myself soon in one of the JB templates. Maybe in Profile or maybe in Flux - May I link back to your site if I do with a credit

It was nice to actually build a website for myself - slowly going through a 100 years of family photos

Discovering as a family we lived in America in the late 1800's - before returning to the family roots of England was a surprise

There's no need for a link - its pretty much vanilla although I did use a commercial extension for the galleries (as a test)

I've been a bit naughty with the amount of image load on this - e.g. too much imagery

I think we are planning a profile2 template for March

Interesting what you can find out from researching family history. I recently learned my ancestors who came over here when the US were colonies were from Devon.

And I like the new March 14 version of Profile too.
