K2 / Rasa Error

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I getting an error in K2 (which came bundled with my Rasa theme) and am wondering if anybody else has seen this. Go to Components => K2, then click on Users.

I get 2 errors right there, and I can't see/edit/add any users. the errors are:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in [...] /administrator/components/com_k2/views/users/view.html.php on line 88
and,
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in [...] /administrator/components/com_k2/views/users/tmpl/default.php on line 73

There's a similar in the K2/ User Groups page.

Any thoughts?

Hi Geoff,

Are you working locally?

If so then I think this issue clears up once you move to a live site. I receive a similar error if I have error reporting set to maximum in the site's global configuration.

Thanks Anthony

Hi :), I have the same warnings with my live website. For me it comes surely from the fact that error reporting is set to on (I saw it while installing the package), because in Joomla error reporting is not enabled as far as I'm concerned. With my shared hosting I can change this in the php.ini accessible via my account.

EDIT: in fact it's Debug settings that are not enabled :).

Error reporting in Joomla is enabled by default, under:

Global configuration > server > error reporting

On a live site, it is best to set it to 'none'.

Nope, that isn't it.

I turned error reporting off. The problem is that I can't add/edit users. See screenshot.

Looks like there are some issues with K2, maybe your install was corrupted somehow. You clearly have some missing files.

The latest version of K2 is v2.4.1, if you are not already running that I would suggest that you upgrade. If you are, I suggest re-installing.

The error is related to the core K2 files and is not related to the template.
