Hey guys - we seem to be stuck between a "Microblog" and "Zentools" module rock/hard place:
In our use of the Microblogs module (Joomla 1.5x site), we have made great use of the
K2 Item Image Size option under Image Settings set to "Original"
- this has worked perfectly in rendering a
Leading Item then List module on our Homepage without having to constantly manipulate K2 Global, Category and Image Parameters that would otherwise destroy our sizing options with images in our K2 content across the entire site. However -
In the current version of the Microblog module (v. 1.11 for our new Joomla 2.5x site), this option is no longer there
, resulting in our Leading Item images to now be resized so blurry that it cannot be used.
Our question is: is there no way in the current version of the Microblog module to set K2 Item Image Sizes (Original, Small, Medium, Large, XLarge, Custom)? Without this option, we can longer use this module (comprising 1/3 of our Homepage presentation).
*for clarification we have spent a ton of time ensuring our K2 Global, Category and Item params are set to appropriately render images in this module (i.e., we aren't trying to resize an image smaller than our Resize Image settings, etc. - the issue is being able to select the
K2 Item Image Size - with it, this works; without it, images are too blurry for production site use). This option doesn't appear to be available in the current version of the Microblog module, 1.11 for 2.5.
**will post as a separate item/question, but we thought we could easily resolve this issue by using the
Zentools module instead, as zentools
does have the option to set
K2 Item Image Sizes and renders our leading item image perfectly clear - but we cannot get Zentools to render a
Leading Item then List across K2 categories (you have to "Drag" content in else you get "no content found" in the module - drag & dropping "image" and "title" then results in an Image and Title for each K2 Item it pulls into the module - not a
leading item then list (image only for Leading Item then List of next "x" number of items).
