Any updates on the Contact Form?

I'm currently looking for an AJAX-based Contact From for a Joomla! Site.

I'm considering either the "Contact Enhanced" extension (which uses MooTools) or just making a JQuery one using:

This one has been shelved indefinitely as some other things have taken priority. Might be worth tracking down another option for the time being.

No problem - thanks for the update. I'm not a big fan of MooTools, so I think we're going to just go ahead and code our own JQuery-based AJAX contact form, possibly even releasing it as a Joomla! Module. I'll update this thread when it is ready.

Okay, I"m happy to relate that we now have a working JQuery-based AJAX-style Contact Form for Joomla!

We're now just adding CSS classes, plugin parameters and a little more user-experience-security now. Coding wasn't too bad - although we had a tough time getting the JQuery form and Joomla's "Token" use to play together well.

Following a "simple is best" philosophy, the contact form is just "name" "email" "message" for now.

Would anyone at JoomlaBamboo be available for a phone chat next week?

Maybe this is something we could release in some sort of partnership with JB...

In the big picture, we're working on "Sepiida" which involves Joomla! and Mobile Devices. We could use a friend and resource with some experience in the area of JED submissions, etc.

the JQuery AJAX Contact form plugin for Joomla! (1.5 at the moment) is ready here, although we're still styling via CSS. If anyone wants a copy let me know (just don't sell it or share it on your web site yet;)

Hi Anthony, Did you get a chance to check out the plugin?

Also - I noticed that the Microblog extension isn't available under the new name in the downloads area - just available under the 'new media' name. Is this the new version, and if so, will it require a uninstall/install process this time?
