Free Joomla Extensions

The JB Library plugin is a system utility we use in our Joomla templates to help ease the pain of javascript conflicts and the common occurrence of having multiple versions of a javascript library loaded into your site. The plugin neatly loads the native version of mootools first and then it loads the latest version of jQuery from the Google api.

This means that there is no need to include jQuery (or mootools for that matter) in your site again. All of our templates from March 2009 - Elevate and any associated modules will use this technique to load the javascript library.

The JB LIbrary plugin is compatible with Joomla 1.5 only.

JFlickr is a free Joomla module that delivers a Flickr gallery onto your website. The module is based on the script by Project Atomic and uses JQuery to do all of the hard lifting. You can set the gallery to display images by photoset, user, group or by free text. You assign the number of images to display, the size of the thumbnail and the size of the image that appears once clicked.

This is the first release of our free Google Map module. V1.0 has the following features:

• Set the height of the map.
• Set the width of the map
• Set the default zoom level
• Set the defualt co-ordinates
• Set up to 3 markers
• Find directions to and from the marker
• Joomla 1.0 and Joomla 1.5 compatible

This mod of the core Joomla module menu behaves in the same way as the default menu module except that you can have a url open in a slimbox/lightbox window. Just create a link to a url in the same way that you normally would except choose open in a new window without browser navigation and the link will be opened in a lightbox.

Moo Ticker is a really simple text fader module for Joomla. Its based on iCarousel and is perfect for displaying small snippets or lines of text. You can also display the time and/or date.

Introducing the new and improved Hover Box Version 2.0. A simple gallery using pure css to display images using hover andthe mootools slimbox extended effect. This module is based on the work by StuNicholls at cssplay.

This is a port of the Flippy Moo script for Mootools by Tim Novinger . Simply roll over the div to have another div slide on in. We've styled the divs a little further in the example below but it is pretty easy to add your own classes to change the output.

Moo Faq is a new slant on our popular Bamboo FAQ. The Moo FAQ is Mootools based and is essentially an accordion that can hide or display content that you specify - we designed the module around the faq format but you could use it for anything really.

The original inspiration for the Hover Box gallery module has come from Stu Nicholls at CSS Play . Its a simple css driven hover gallery that is very flexible and easy to configure. Check out the info below for how to get the most out of this module.

This module has now been updated to Hover Box Version 2 . 

As a follow up to the Make Contact module the Five Questions module is a simple module that enables you to conduct a survey asking just five questions. You can assign an intro, thankyou and error message as well as the height and width of the boxes for the answers.

Bamboo FAQ is an FAQ module based on the script developed by Harry Maughan. It is a simple module that will help you to display up to ten frequently asked questions and their answers in a module position.

This is a simple email form for you to load into a modulerather than using the Core Joomla Contact component. Just enter the emailaddress and message title in the backend (as well as your introduction text, success anderror message) and publish the module and you have a very simplecontact form.

JB Login is a modified version of the core Joomla login module. We've taken out all the tables and given you a clean horizontal layout - perfect for fitting into thin module positions on your site.
