TOPIC: Zen Framework Plugin

Zen Framework Plugin 1 year, 2 months ago #65536

The site I'm working on is located at cstonechurches.com/bethalto, using the Epicure template.

I noticed tonight that I am using a slightly older version of the Zen Framework Plugin (2.2.1). So I updated to 2.2.4.

Shortly after this, I noticed that my Google Fonts were no longer showing.

Fortunately, I had the original 2.2.1 zip file on hand. I re-uploaded that file went back to version 2.2.1 to test it and the problem was resolved.

I'm guessing this is an issue with the plugin?

Actually I think it was the 2.2.2 update that rewrote the font names so you need to go into the template and reset the fonts in the admin.

Sorry about the trouble with that.

Let me know if that solves the issue.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "reset the fonts in the admin."

I checked the settings under "Appearance" - "Fonts" using 2.2.2.

I then updated to 2.2.4.

I checked the 2.2.4 settings under "Appearance" - "Fonts" and the settings were the same. But now the fonts don't appear correctly (screenshot01).

So I decided to test the results when using different font. I changed "Font-Family Headings" from "Alex Brush" to "Aladin." This caused the results in screenshot02. "Aladin" appears correctly in the Zen Tools slideshow. "Droid Sans" appears correctly. And the Logo Type works as well.

However, when I switch "Aladin" back to "Alex Brush" everything seems to break.

I'm not sure if that helps or not, but I'm not sure where else to look.

Thanks,
