When we moved server an old version was stuck in the download area for make contact. You can download again and it ll work fine.

Hi - did the Make Contact version get updated?

On the site, it lists 1.1 as available for download, but the file I get installs as 1.0

Could this be why my current version (listed as 1.0) is allowing spam in?

Thanks for any assistance.

How possible is it to alter the WIDTH of the make contact module? It works great for me using JOOMLA 1.5, but it hogs a lot of the screen.

Hi Jay,

You can either edit the make contact php file in the modules directory and change the col number or you could apply some css styling to the width of the inputboxes in the file.

Cheers Anthony.

make contact - no UTF-8 support 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi there

I'm designing a bilingual site, using UTF-8. MAKE CONTACT module is perfect for some of my needs. But when I made a test typing in cyrillic, the received e-mail was full of monkey symbols
I put the next line below <head> tag:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />

but nothing happened.

Some suggestions what is wrong?

I havent tried this but you may need to make a declaration in the make contact file itself.

Thanks Anthony
