We just release a new free module ... This mod of the core Joomla module menu behaves in the same way as the default menu module except that you can have a url open in a slimbox/lightbox window.



Just create a link to a url in the same way that you normally would except choose open in a new window without browser navigation and the link will generate the new link in the lightbox.



Download from the download area now.

I am trying to use this tool on one of my sites and can not get it to work.



I copied the code into my templates html file, and still can not get it to work

If you go to the site
www.photographybylarrywitt.com/test



and click on the "Specialty Cards" on both the "Main Menu" and the "Lightbox Menu" you will see that it is opening the link in a new window with no navigation.

Yes sorry Sam I see it now ...



You've got two versions of mootools being referenced. In the Rok slideshow module Im pretty sure there is an option to not have the mootools script referenced. Try unpublishing that and seeing what happens.
