Moo Ticker setup problem 8 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
When I publish Moo Ticker, I can see all ticker lines on top of each other with no fade or jscript action going on.

Have I installed this correctly?

I have modified the css file as instructed - no apparent problems there.

I have placed the following line at the end of the index.php file

I understand this is a free module, but if you could advise, I would be very grateful.

***The missing line is the code included in the setup instructions***

Your board software seemed to delete the line!

Hi Fireguy,

Can you post a link ... sounds like the javascript is being referenced. Just check there is no other conflict with other mootools or javascript scripts.

Thanks Anthony.

I am testing on my own PC using the excellent jsas, so am unable to post a link.

I can tell you that I am running other scripts on the same page using JoomlaWorks' Ultimate content Display and Simple Image Rotator.

Thanks for your help

Try disabling each script one by one ... generally if any of the other addons use jquery you'll find grief and sometimes you may have an incompatible version of mootools that doesnt have all of the dependencies require for mooticker ...

Try putting the script references to mooticker just before the end of the head tags ...

Using it with news scroller module seems to be causing the problem. Not altogether sure why but when News Scroller is disabled Moo Ticker works fine.

The next problem will be to find a suitable replacement for News Scroller - any ideas?

Thanks for all your help guys, keep up the good work.
