Does MooFlip work in Joomla 1.5 (even with Legacy mode)??

It doesn't seem to be working for me. I also didn't use the call to the mootools.js file and it still doesn't work.

all that it does is show the second box below the first one.

Hi Jonathon,

The main issue is that the scripts arent referencing properly. You need to change the reference as noted in the module from:

/modules/moo_flip/

to

/modules/mod_moo_flip/moo_flip/

I havent put the full detail in there as the forum usually strips it out.

That being said Im not sure how this module will fair in Joomla 1.5 - it hasnt been tested for it and Im not sure that Im going to work on an update for it.

Let me know if you have any success.

Anthony

well, it worked. I changed the path in the xml and php file along with the js script in the template.

my css seems to be off a bit, but that may be something in my template.

thanks.

hold that thought... it doesn't quite work right in ie6 or 7....

well it flips which is nice. But when I put 2 up, the second one floats to the right of it. I've tried a number of things but can't get it to show up below... any suggestions?

Hi Jonathon,

Sounds like a css issue and related to the module position that you are publishing the module to.

Try removing the float references in the css file for the flippy container or adjust the width of the div that holds the module.

Cheers Anthony

you are correct sir. I messed around and found it.

on the style flippy_container

I removed clear: right;

This had no negative impact to firefox, but allowed it to stack in both versions of ie.
