Hello there!

First, I want to thank you so much for this plugin - it's been a huge time saver!! I also realize that the plugin doesn't say it's officially compatible with 2.5+ However I have a se of 4 almost identical sites where the older version of the plugin (1.5.1) is working with 2.5.1 perfectly. I went ahead and updated two of the sites to JBtype 1.5.4 and it no longer renders. The plugin text / brackets are stripped, leaving the text behind.

Do you happen to know if there will be any resolution to this? I am happy to help with access to sites etc. to help troubleshoot.

- that is very interesting about the version number as we are working hard on JB Type currently

I'm not sure on the timeframe I'm afraid but will ask

same here, once working jbtype is no longer works when updated with 1.5.4
uninstalled old
installed 1.5.4 and enabled.

article during edit shows jbtype, but when article is displayed it does not show jbtype.

Latest version is working fine for me.

Can you reinstall the latest and see if it works then?

Hi,

I've just installed joomla 2.5.4 with the Newscycle template.
I installed the latest version of JCE Editior and the JB Type plugin, but it doesn't work. The dropdown that is supposed to be added in the editor doesn't appear...

Any help?

Hi Ruth,

Did you install the JCE JB Type plugin? That gets installed via the ice installer and is different to the core JB Type plugin.

You were right! I must have skipped that step somehow when I read the documentation...
I installed it and it's working perfectly now!
