Hey Mathew,

Make sure that the jQuery version on your site is the latest 1.6+

That should dolve it for you, if not let us know.

Cheers,
Jason.

Re: Captify and IE 1 year, 9 months ago #51980

Hi Jason

Just check with JB library, it was running 1.3 so I updated it to version 1.6.1. It had no effect on Captify Content in IE9.

I should also point out that I haven't had JB library enable as it was effecting RokAjaxsearch modue functionality. However, even with JB Library enable and RokAjaxsearch modue unpublished it still isn't working.

Hopefully this information helps you in solving it.

It is also an issue with another site I'm working on.

Hey there,

That bug in IE9 for captify has been fixed. The new versions should be released soon but in the mean time you can use the attached script.

Replace the file
/modules/mod_captifyContent/js/captify.tiny.js

With the unzipped file in the attachment.

Let us know if it does not fix the bug for you.

Cheers,
Jason.

Re: Captify and IE 1 year, 9 months ago #52124

Thanks Jason

That's fixed it. Although it has rendered the dynamtic functionality of both rocketthemes "RokAjaxSearch" module and Yoothemes "YooSearch" module inoperable.

Them the breaks.

Re: Captify and IE 1 year, 9 months ago #52125

Hey there - I ve just connected your avatar and who you are lol - how are you?

Shouldn't cause an issue like that. In safari I get:

Refused to set unsafe header "Connection" and an error gets displayed in moo tools.js in firefox.

Can you just double check the issue occurs when captify is published - by unpublishing it temporarily?

Hi Anthony

I'm good thanks, and you?

The site is currently using Yoothemes "YooSearch".
When I turned off all the Captify modules it had no effect, however when I swapped the search over to the Rockettheme one "RokAjaxSearch" and turn the Captify modules off it did work.

Re: Captify and IE 1 year, 9 months ago #52130

Good - hoping to get to another MJUG soon.

So sounds like captify isn't the issue then.

If its unpublished the Yoosearch still doesnt work.
If it is published and Roksearch is enabled then it does work?

Correct me if I have it around the wrong way - been a long day.

Sorry, I thought I may confuse you.

With Captify unpublished, YooSearch doesn't work, but Rocketthemes does work.

Re: Captify and IE 1 year, 9 months ago #52144

Thanks, that certainly is a strange bug. It would not have crept up with the change I made which should have been unrelated but I cannot rule it out entirely.
Any chance of us having a closer look with some details in a support ticket?

Re: Captify and IE 1 year, 9 months ago #52145

Actually, one difference was that I minified that script before I sent it to you. Try this unminified version I'm attaching and let me know if it fixes things for you.

Cheers,
Jason.

Hi Jason,

It is weird. I uploaded the new file, but there was no change.

If you want to explore it further, just let me know and I'll give you a login for the back end.

Sure thing. I wouldn't mind having a closer look there.
Just add a ticket and I'll get to it there.
Thanks
