Submenu-items within Clean-Bamboo 7 Months, 4 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hello,

sorry I didn't find a solution for my quest within the forum.

I use the Clean Bamboo template and am looking for a way to show submenu-items of the main-menu in the user3 position. I tried several menu-moduls but nothing works. The menu always shows only the first level of the items.

Is there any way to have e. g. a sliding down menu within this template on the user3-position?

Hope anyone can help me.

Best regards

Thomas

The template wasn't built with a suckerfish in mind but could be added by using the extended menu module and using one of the default templates on the site there.

If you can wait till Monday I will try to re-issue this template with pathway and suckerfish built enabled.

Thanks Anthony.

Actually so you need to use the extended menu module included in the zip.

And set the module to the following settings:

1. Menu type - flat list

2. Exapand Menu - yes

3. Use menu template - yes

4. menu template - menu/menu.html

That should pretty much do it.

Do you have a url I can take a look at?

Are you still using the module table class -top_menu?

There were a few other fixes in the css so might be worth cutting and pasting ... and working with your changes after that.

You can adjust the margin for the header_l div and that should push it up towards the top. It currently has a top margin of 50px.

Re:Submenu-items within Habitat3 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi, I am trying to get submenus working within Habitat3.

The URL is http://edenhillskindy.atalltraders.com . The mainmenu is published as a mod_mainmenu and as an extended menu. There are submenu items under "About Us". The password and username are the same as usual.

Hi Michael,

Are you using extended menu v1.05? That module is built specifically for J1.5.

Cheers Anthony

Hi Anthony,

I am using version 1.0.5 (mod_exmenu-j15, 1.0.5 (build 15), April 2008). I think it installed with the template but am not sure of this.

Thanks for your help,

Michael

Re:Submenu-items within Clean-Bamboo 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 31
Hi Michael,

I just got it working locally but with the older version using 1.03 and legacy mode. You also need to place the module class -menu on the module and ensure that expand menu is set to yes and that flat list is selected.

Ill put together a non-legacy work around in the next day or so but until then that will allow you to show the sub menu as per the demo.

Cheers Anthony
