I've just released the August Joomla template for our members and I hope you will agree that it is a beautiful design indeed. Gazetta is a minimal-ish multipurpose magazine or news theme that makes good use of the Joomla article image to create interesting and unique designs on a page by page basis.
The home page features a complex module layout that is typical of content heavy news or magazine layouts.
I'm very happy to announce the availability of our Joomla template for July.
Boost is a lightweight and fast responsive Joomla template built on our very own Zen Grid Framework v4. It features subtle textures, clear typography and an array of built in colour schemes that will suit your personal design portfolio, photograpy or business website.
It's also not too late to take advantage of the 30% off coupon we announced when Zentools2 was released, Simply use the coupon "zentools2" on our checkout page to take 30% off your next subscription.
I've just released our April Joomla template for club members. Responsive2 is a Zen Grid Framework v4 update for the very popular and perhaps original responsive starter theme we released all the way back in October 2011.
Responsive2 is a fast, light weight and minimal Joomla template that is designed with enough flavour to use straight out of the box or for you to use as a carefully prepared canvas ready for your next masterpiece. Like all of our other Zen Grid Framework v4 themes it's lightning fast, comes with a tonne of features and a beautiful interface to hold it all together.
I've just released our March Joomla template (Ecolife) which is a Joomla 3 and responsive update from one of my personal favourites.
Ecolift was originally released in 2011 and proved to be a popular choice among businesses looking for an environmental, earthy and elegantly grungy theme.
Ecolife steps up where Ecolift left off. It's a modern revisioning of the grunge / textured design idea, maintaining the same soft grunge elements and minimalism that people loved in the original, combined with the added focus on performance and responsiveness.
This update adds two new features to the framework and a stack of improvements and a number of bug fixes.
Since the release of Xero - our first theme on ZGF4 - we have had numerous requests on tips for how to apply a full block of colour to specific rows of modules. As of v1.2 this is possible from within the template admin and without adding any new custom code.
I'm happy to announce the availability of our latest Joomla template - Venture.
Venture is a responsive flat design that suits a number of purposes. You can use it to create a Joomla business, blog, news or magazine site. It's blazingly fast out of the box and also provides you with an enormous amount of control for creating the perfect layout and theme control for your next project.
Yesterday I announced the release of our Joomla template for January - Focus2.
Focus2 is a blazingly fast theme designed for photographers and other creative types who have a need to showcase their work on a grand scale.
It's a responsive design with a built in background slideshow that allows you to place single or multiple images underneath your content. The slideshow has a fullscreen toggle which allows the user to toggle the site into a fullscreen mode where the content of the website is hidden revealing the glory of the image / s being displayed underneath.
This is a somewhat belated post announcing the release of our Rasa2 template ...
Rasa2 is an elegant minimal design built on the Zen Grid Framework v4. It's a simple theme that provides some refined clean lines with nicely balanced white space, which is ideal for presenting your content or your products in style.
Rasa2 is a fast and lightweight responsive template and comes with all of the features of our Zen Grid Framework v4 themes, including a simple Mega menu, responsive layout tool, a range of responsive tools for controlling how your site behaves across different screen sizes, asset optimisation and more.
Xero is our new starter theme that we will be building all future themes from and is an ideal starting point for users to get to know the new version of the framework with.
I write this blog post as an update for our members who might be curious about what's going on at Joomlabamboo.
TLDR: Don't worry we are still here and we are still innovating, we have just been a little delayed.
Joomlabamboo as you may or may not know is a small business. By small I actually mean very small when measured against other template club standards. It's primarily myself doing design and development, with the tireless support of Rob and Paul working on our forum and ticket system. Rob also works on code development amongst his other freelance committments.
