My Music to Design to selections tend to be a little (and unapologetically) electro-centric but over the last few years I have been trying to widen my scope and one genre that listen to regularly are movie soundtracks. I love watching intense and intelligent movies and love them even more when they have beautiful, intense and sublime soundtracks.
A film that I would have to rank in my top 5 all time films is the The Thin Red Line by Terrence Malick. Interestingly the first time I tried to watch it I couldn't sit through more than 30 minutes of it - ten years later I found it to be one of the most transformational films I had ever seen. An enduring part of the film for me is it's soundtrack and yes it is also music that I like to listen to while designing.
