While doing a bit of research into some K2 functionality recently, I came across a few posts on the K2 support forum requesting lists of templates and extensions that support the K2 component. We have been working pretty intimately with K2 since the start of this year and so I thought Id post a rundown of which of our Joomla templates and extensions that are K2 compatible.

We plan on adding K2 support to most of our future Joomla template releases and extending the Joomla modules that are currently K2 compatible as well. 

Im really happy to be able to show off our new icon for the Zen Grid framework. The icon was developed by the amazingly talented Parthiban Mohanraj who creates incredibly detailed and immaculate icons. Check out his folio over on Deviant Art for some more examples of his amazing work.

Thanks to some constructive feedback from Matthew on our forum I've put together this table of template and extension version that our members can use as a reference when assessing whether they have the latest version of a particular template or extension.

There are a few more columns that I will be putting into play in the table but for the time being its ready to be used as a reference for both our club templates as well as our free and club Joomla extensions.

Midway through last month I posted about the change in our pricing structure and the date for the changeover is rapidly approaching. On the 15th January we will be introducing the new pricing structure which will see the introduction of a two tiered system with incentives for renewing members. So if you are a new member and are looking to join the club then joining now is a quick way to save a bit of cash before we hit the new fee structure.

One of the things I'm really happy about with our recent relaunch is that we are now able to take advantage of the latest stable version of the AEC subscription component. The AEC component has a whole stack of new features and some really powerful micro integrations that make integrating subscriptions into third-party components and other software platforms relatively easy.

But one of the features that I really like is the ability for the user to print an invoice has been processed by the system. This means that you have complete access to your records and you were able to get a personalized account of what you have spent throughout the life of your membership.

It has been quite some time since we have had any sort of price change here at your Joomla Bamboo - in fact when I look at my records its been well over two years since we have had any change to our pricing structure! So with the new site launch as well as the coming new year we thought it was about time that we made a few changes.

The biggest change is the introduction of incentives for renewing members which will see a dramatic saving on some of our subscriptions when you renew your membership.

Welcome to Joomlabamboo 2.0! Yesterday we unveiled and relaunched the next iteration of the Joomlabamboo site with this fresh new design and a whole stack of new Joomla goodness.

This has been a major project which probably started around 12 months ago when I first started to sketch out a redesign but has involved hours or reworking and recoding - not to mention the preparation involved with moving a site of this size.
